Technical Know-How: Improved Business and Innovation Strategies

The workshop streams within Venturefest events provide valuable (and highly valued) information to the delegates that they report as influencing their business and innovation strategies. Not only do delegates receive information and ideas from the content of the presentations but they also;

  • observe how, and how not, to pitch for funding or present their business to an external audience for example;
  • make new connections with those with skills and ideas that they are needing or offering;
  • learn about new forms of business support available from national and local service providers.

A survey in Oxford suggested that an astonishing 90% had found out about new technologies and innovations from attending Venturefest with 50% intending to change their strategy as a result. 60% of the exhibitors at Venturefest Yorkshire reported the day as having provided new concepts and business ideas.
